Superlux CM-H8C Frequency Response Curves

Each mic comes with a set of three curves like these. Every mic is slightly different, and the individual curves are marked with your mic's serial number.

Superlux CM-H8C typical frequency response on-axis in Cardioid position. This is similar to many large diaphragm mics.

Superlux CM-H8C typical frequency response on-axis in Omni position. Note that the response is different in Omni. This is also typical of multipattern mics.

Since each pattern has a different frequency response in addition to the difference in pattern, this provides the ability to get the sound of three different mics in a single mic. The frequency response in the Cardioid position is the combination of the responses in Omni and Figure 8.
