Other than the markings it is hard to tell from a Koenig and Meyer (K&M) 21090B even if they are sitting next to each other. Like the better K&M stands it has a Die-Cast metal base, not the less expensive plastic bases found on most inexpensive stands. The height adjustment range is from 35 1/2" to 63", and the boom arm adjusts from 19 5/8" to 31 1/2" in length. Unlike some other stands the threads on the ends of both the stand and the boom arm are American standard 5/8"-27 threading. This means the boom can be removed and the stand and boom used interchangeably with other industry standard mic stands and booms. It comes with a cloth carry bag. The Superlux SPS-410-BK is a well made tripod speaker stand. Visually it is similar to the Ultimate TS-70 series stand except it is made entirely of aluminum. The main tube is 1 3/8" diameter for strength and the telescoping collar has a safety pin for security. The leg collar is adjustable to spread the legs for maximum stability or to fold compactly for storage. With the legs spread to maximum, the height adjustment range is from 44 1/2" to 72 1/2".
